Shipping Times

To calculate the estimated arrival dates, we add the time it takes to process your order before it ships plus the time it takes to arrive at your shipping address after it leaves our warehouse.

Most packages in your order can be tracked via our carrier's (UPS) website. It may take up to 1 business day for your information to be posted on UPS's website from the date your order is shipped.

Shipping Methods

Element Technica offers the UPS shipping method. Depending on where your order is shipped, the following shipping methods may be available:

Shipping method with estimated arrival:

  • Next Day Air Early AM: Next Business Day (as early as 8:00am)
  • Next Day Air: Next Business Day (by 10:30am)
  • Next Day Air Saver: Next Business Day (by 3:00pm)
  • 2nd Day Air Early AM: 2 Business Days (by 10:30am)
  • 2nd Day Air: 2 Business Days (end of day)
  • 3 Day Select: 3 Business Days (end of day)
  • Ground: 1-5 Business Days
  • Canada Standard: Day Definite by Date Scheduled (end of day)
  • Worldwide Express Plus: 1-3 Business Days (by 9:00am)
  • Worldwide Express: 1-3 Business Days (by noon)
  • Worldwide Expedited: 2-5 Business Days (end of day)

Express

Large orders that contain more than 10 items, may require longer processing times.

Shipping Costs/Insurance

We calculate shipping cost for each shipping method based on the type and weight of items in your order. For anything over a declared value of over $100 there is a required insurance premium that we must include with out shipping. This will add additional costs to the overall shipping price.

Backorders

Backorders will be noted on our products page. When an order arrives which contain both backorder and in-stock products, we will by default ship you what we have in stock first. We know most people will want to get their hands on what they can. Backorders will be shipped as they become available and may be subject to additional shipping fees. If you prefer to hold your entire order until the backorders become available, please contact sales.

Canada & International Orders

Element Technica does offer shipping to Canada and other countries outside the U.S. However, you may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once the package reaches your country. Additional charges for customs clearance are the responsibility of the recipient. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; please contact your local customs office for further information. Additionally, when ordering from Element Technica.com, you are considered the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the country in which you are receiving the goods.

Customs forms for all international packages list the value of your order's contents by product type. For instance, orders containing Ultra Rods, DoveTails, and EVF Mount will be listed in a way similar to the following example:

Ultra Rods value: $50.00
Dovetail value: $425.00
EVF Mount value: $960.00

Will Call

Will call is available for those customers who are willing to make the trek to sunny LA. Please let us know when you will be coming by so that we can be sure that your shipment will be ready. If you will be coming to our location via LAX then going to RED camera, we can help with guiding you on the best route to take.



Multiple Shipments

The items in your order may arrive in different shipments. Depending on the type, quantity and weight of items in your order, we may pack and ship them in different packages to ensure that they arrive on time and undamaged. Most packages are trackable via UPS's website.

Returns & Exchanges

Element Technica offers a 15-day money back guarantee on all products. If you would like to return or exchange an item, please fill out the request form, and we will send you an RMA and instructions on how to send the item(s) back. Please be aware that there will be a 15% restocking fee. Restocking fee "may" be waived under special circumstances. Shipping charges are not refundable. Items returned do not need to be in their original packaging but is recommended in order to properly ship it back to us.
